Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Stryvr, a Series of Vaughan Group LLC (“Stryvr,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Stryvr website at getstryvr.com and the learning platform and services we provide (together, the “Services”).
Information we collect
We collect information in a few ways:
- Information you give us. When you request a demo, contact us, or correspond with us, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, organization, and the content of your messages.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect usage data such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and similar analytics information, including through cookies and comparable technologies.
- Learner data processed for client organizations. When a workforce board, agency, or other organization licenses Stryvr, learners use the platform through that organization’s branded portal. Information about those learners is processed on behalf of, and under the instructions of, the licensing organization.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services;
- To respond to demo requests and inquiries and communicate with you;
- To administer licenses and accounts;
- To understand how the website and platform are used; and
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Services:
- Service providers and platform partners. We use third-party providers to host the platform, deliver and update course content, send communications, and provide support. They may process information only to perform services for us.
- Licensing organizations. Learner activity and progress are made available to the organization that licenses the platform for its participants.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Services.
- Business transfers. Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Data processed on behalf of organizations
For learner data, the licensing organization is the controller of that information and is responsible for its own privacy practices and notices. Stryvr acts as a processor and handles learner data according to the organization’s instructions and our agreement with them. Learners should direct requests about their records to the organization that enrolled them.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain accounts, meet our legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it.
Security
We and our platform partners maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. If your information is held on behalf of a licensing organization, we will direct your request to that organization.
Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for use by adults and by organizations serving adult participants. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above.
